How to Play
1. Create an Account
Download the Group 1 Sports app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Hit “Get Started” on the splash screen and follow the prompts to create & verify your account.
Fund your account with a deposit via the Wallet so you’re ready to join a game.
2. Join a Game
From the Home Screen, select a race meeting and pay the $19.90 entry fee to join the game.
Each game is tied to a single real-world meeting and scoring is based on the performance of real-world horses. One entry fee gets you a whole day of racing fun.
3. Draft Your Stable
Browse the racing fields and form and draft a stable of up to 15 real-world horses running at the meeting.
You can choose up to 3 horses in each race, within your overall stable balance budget.
4. The First Race Starts!
When the first race jumps, the game is closed to new players and the prize table is locked.
The initial draft market closes with the start of the first race. If you have any money left in your stable balance it will taxed by 25% — but you can still use the remainder during the rest of the day.
5. Score Points
Rack up points if your horses place in the top four spots in their races.
Bonus points awarded for special outcomes, like Hot Streaks and Threats.
6. Manage Your Stable Through the Day
Adjust your stable to manage scratchings or changing track conditions during the day.
Swap out horses (subject to the stable rules) in real-time to keep active Hot Streaks alive!
7. Track Your Progress on the Leaderboard
Keep tabs as you rank against friends and all players on the game leaderboard.
8. Win Big Cash Prizes
If you rank high enough at the end of the Race Day, you’ll win BIG cash prizes. And you could win one of tons of smaller prizes.
Prizes for each game are uncapped; the more players entered, the higher the prizes!
